Featuring Local Flavors and Hawaiian Cuisine

The Royal Hawaiian luau includes an incredible variety of local cuisine, served to you at this perfect beachfront location. The resort proudly features local ingredients in both savory and sweet items.

The first plate starts with poi, a staple of Hawaiian celebrations for centuries. Poi comes from the taro plant, which early settlers brought to Hawaii and frequently ate. Cooks will mash the cooked plant material with water and allow it to ferment to differing degrees, adjusting the taste as desired.
Signature Kalua Pig is roasted for ours in natural ti leaves, grown across the islands and on the Royal Hawaiian grounds.
Dessert offers local-style Haupia pudding, a popular coconut milk-based dessert.
