HE LOA KA HELE ‘ANA ‘O NA KUPUNA

THE PATH OF OUR ANCESTORS IS GREAT

Long before Waikiki became an iconic destination, Helumoa was a place rich in Hawaiian culture and tradition. Ahaaina brings this storied past to life through music, cuisine and time-honored customs on The Royal Hawaiian’s Ocean Lawn, framed by Waikiki Beach and Diamond Head.

Across three acts, guests discover traditions including kapa-making, poi-pounding and na lawaia before gathering for a feast inspired by the cultures that shaped Hawaii. Storytelling, music and dance carry the evening forward, culminating in the captivating story of Helumoa.
